Well, here we go again. The end of the year brings us to another newsletter. And even though I like to tease about having to write two {long, onerous, highly taxing} articles [LOL]. I think we should acknowledge the great job Deb does with the Newsletter. Full of interesting stuff and information we are fortunate to have her dedication to the task at hand. And you know what – we got a lot of folks like that at New Life. Folks that go above and beyond in everything they do. You should be congratulated for a job well-done. CONGRATULATIONS!
As we close out the year, I look back on what has happened and it brings a smile to my face. We’ve weathered some storms and come out of them stronger and more determined than ever. Remember the series of Baptisms we had after a strong testimony of God’s reconciling grace? Our Father so dearly loves us, and when we honor Him, He honors us.
Our VBS program was again a huge success with the best attendance we have ever had and many, many professions of faith. And our New Life Kids Praise Team continues to be a hit with everyone. They are the best. Our Sunday evening Fellowship has grown, and attendance has stayed steady at all our other meetings. Of equal importance in the furtherance of God’s Kingdom, you have done a great job of being cheerful givers. The tithe this year surpassed forecasts, as God again blessed us in that area of our ministry. Remember 1/10 of all you give supports our missions’ programs.
Of great importance is the growth I have seen in our Body of believers spiritually. Our studies have been conducive to a closer walk with God, and I believe we are moving in the right direction. This is evidenced by some really quality people joining our Fellowship this year. May we continue to seek His face and reflect His image daily.
God bless and see ya in 2026.
