Well, the mornings are cooling down as we begin the Fall of the year. It’s a great time to get outside and enjoy God’s creation. I pray that you are doing well in all ways. But realistically, life has many ups and downs. Times when burdens seem heavy and we’re confounded by the world. Rest assured that the Lord knows each and every circumstance of your life and loves you with the love of His Father. We’ve seen many in our Fellowship who have come through hard times and gained much from their experience. Let us be an encouragement to each other and let us reach out and love each other with that same love of our Father.
Sunday mornings continue on with our study of the Beatitudes. Just today someone told me that the Lord has given them a whole new perspective on the Beatitudes since we’ve been in this study. Praise God that His Word is ever illuminating and alive.
The End Times meetings on Sunday PM are progressing well and now we have moved on from the Tribulation and will begin a study entitled “His Kingdom Will Come”, a look at the Millennial and Eternal Kingdoms. Many have been very faithful in attending these meetings and I pray that will continue as we study what awaits us all one day as children of the living God.
It's budget time again and as our finance committee prepares their recommendations, I want to thank you for your cheerful giving. We’ve never really majored on tithing as an issue, yet you have always been faithful in providing for our needs. Both this budget year’s tithe and expenditures are very near forecasted amounts. Remember-if you have any budget questions, see a committee member for our answers.
Well, I guess that’s enough for now. Once again, I want to tell you that it is a joy to be your teacher/preacher. I never knew how fulfilling it would be to convey God’s Word to others that thirst for knowledge of our Lord and Saviour. May we remain Berean like in our study of His Word. God bless.
STEVEN MEDEIROS, Teacher/Preacher
